This work is about reflection and healing. I am drawn to the question of what makes a space feel safe — and why that safety matters so deeply to how we grow, recover, and remain whole.

I explore this through the people and places that carry the feeling of home: the quiet corners, familiar faces, and small rituals that offer comfort and belonging. These subjects are not incidental — they are the foundation of what makes restoration possible. I believe that safe spaces are not a luxury but a necessity for human growth, and my work is an attempt to honor and preserve that truth.

My practice draws heavily from biographical memories and the experiences of Southern culture — the stories, landscapes, and traditions that shaped my own understanding of home. In returning to these memories, I am not simply looking backward; I am searching for what continues to hold and heal us in the present.

Ultimately, this work is an invitation to reflect on what safety and comfort mean in our own lives, and to recognize the spaces — literal and emotional — that make healing possible.
